Cruelty and ferocity try to take the upper hand over rationality, thus forcing the target to resist the call of its animal instincts.
The psionicist deals 1d4+1 psychic damage for every 5 PSPs spent to initiate this psionic power, to maximum of 1d4+1 damage for every point of Intelligence.
The victim of this mental attack suffers the incapacitated condition for 1d4 rounds. The target may attempt to shake this condition off by succeeding an Intelligence saving throw. Shaking the incapacitated condition off requires 1 full round.
In addition, if the target fails the saving throw, then the psionicist automatically establish contact with the target’s mind at no cost.
