5th Edition Advanced Mode
Limiting the power of a character and making the overall difficulty of the game harder, does not reduce the creativity, indeed it does quite the opposite.
The Game Master has the option to use any and all of the instances proposed in this guide, or just some of them according to their preference.

It is the lack of something that move and motivate characters, not the abundance of it

DESCRIPTION

A pony is a small horse that is often used as a mount or a pack animal by smaller races, such as halflings, gnomes, or dwarves. Ponies are typically brown, black, or gray in color, with long manes and tails. They have a gentle and loyal temperament, and can form strong bonds with their owners. Ponies are also intelligent enough to understand simple commands and follow directions.

COMBAT

Ponies are not natural fighters, and will usually flee from danger rather than confront it. However, if cornered or threatened, they can defend themselves with their hooves, which can deliver powerful kicks. Ponies can also bite or headbutt their enemies if necessary. Ponies are more likely to fight if they are protecting their owners or companions, or if they have been trained for combat.

HABITAT / SOCIETY

Ponies are domesticated animals that live in farms, stables, or villages. They are often used for transportation, trade, or recreation by various races and cultures. Ponies can also be found in the wild, roaming in grasslands, hills, or forests. Wild ponies live in herds of up to 20 individuals, led by a dominant stallion. They are wary of predators and strangers, and will flee if approached.

ECOLOGY

Ponies are herbivorous animals that feed on grass, hay, grains, fruits, and vegetables. They need fresh water and shelter to survive. Ponies can live up to 25 years in captivity, or 15 years in the wild. Ponies are fertile all year round, and can mate with other ponies or horses. A female pony gives birth to a single foal after 11 months of gestation. A foal can stand and walk shortly after birth, and can be weaned after 6 months.

Ponies can be used as mounts or pulling animals for vehicles.
