The Inevitables: The Lawful Guardians of Mechanus

The Inevitables are a type of living construct from the Plane of Mechanus, a realm of order and law. They are agents of the Kolyarut, an engine of absolute jurisprudence that enforces the fundamental laws of nature and morality across the multiverse. The Inevitables are programmed to hunt down and punish those who violate these laws, using their clockwork bodies and weapons to deliver swift justice. They are also responsible for enforcing interplanar contracts between beings of different planes, ensuring that they are fulfilled or renegotiated if necessary. The Inevitables are loyal to their creators, the Modrons, who reside in Sigil, the City of Doors, in the Hall of Concordance. The Inevitables are formidable foes for any transgressor or rebel, as they will not hesitate to use lethal force to achieve their mission.
