5th Edition Advanced Mode
Limiting the power of a character and making the overall difficulty of the game harder, does not reduce the creativity, indeed it does quite the opposite.
The Game Master has the option to use any and all of the instances proposed in this guide, or just some of them according to their preference.

It is the lack of something that move and motivate characters, not the abundance of it

DESCRIPTION

A badger is a small, furry animal with a short, bushy tail and a distinctive black-and-white striped face. Badgers are usually about 2 feet long and weigh between 10 and 20 pounds. They have powerful claws that they use for digging and fighting. Badgers are omnivorous, eating both plants and animals, such as worms, insects, rodents, rabbits, snakes, frogs, and berries. Badgers are mostly nocturnal and solitary, but they may form loose social groups in some areas. Badgers are very territorial and will defend their burrows fiercely against intruders.

COMBAT

Badgers are not aggressive by nature, but they will fight if provoked or threatened. They rely on their keen sense of smell to detect enemies and prey. Badgers have a bite attack that can inflict piercing damage, and a claw attack that can inflict slashing damage. Badgers can make two attacks per round: one with their bite and one with their claws. Badgers are also adept at burrowing, which allows them to escape or ambush foes. Badgers have a low armor class and hit points, but they can be surprisingly tough opponents for their size.

HABITAT / SOCIETY

Badgers live in temperate forests, grasslands, hills, and mountains. They dig complex networks of tunnels and chambers called setts, which they use for shelter, storage, and breeding. A sett may have several entrances and exits, some of which are hidden or camouflaged. A badger may share its sett with other badgers or other animals, such as foxes, rabbits, or weasels. Badgers are mostly solitary, but they may form loose social groups called clans in some areas. A clan consists of a dominant male, one or more females, and their offspring. Clans communicate with each other through scent marking, vocalizations, and body language.

ECOLOGY

Badgers are an important part of the ecosystem, as they help control the populations of rodents and other pests. They also aerate the soil and create habitats for other animals with their digging activities. Badgers have few natural predators, but they may be hunted by wolves, bears, coyotes, or large birds of prey. Humans also pose a threat to badgers, as they may trap, poison, or kill them for their fur or meat. Badgers are sometimes domesticated by druids or rangers who appreciate their loyalty and courage.
