Trolls: The Regenerating Giants of D&D

Trolls are a fearsome race of giants that can heal from any injury, unless they are burned by fire or dissolved by acid. This remarkable ability makes them very hard to kill, and very dangerous to face. They are driven by an insatiable hunger that makes them hunt and devour any living creature they encounter. They have a keen sense of smell, but poor eyesight and hearing. They are not very smart or civilized, and they often fight among themselves or with other creatures. Trolls come in many shapes and sizes, depending on their habitat and origin. Some of the most common types of trolls are cave trolls, forest trolls, ice trolls, mountain trolls, rock trolls, scrag trolls, spirit trolls, and venom trolls . Trolls are based on the mythical creatures from Norse and Scandinavian folklore, but they have been adapted and expanded by the Dungeons and Dragons game .
