5th Edition Advanced Mode
Limiting the power of a character and making the overall difficulty of the game harder, does not reduce the creativity, indeed it does quite the opposite.
The Game Master has the option to use any and all of the instances proposed in this guide, or just some of them according to their preference.

It is the lack of something that move and motivate characters, not the abundance of it

DESCRIPTION

A giant badger is a large, furry beast with powerful claws and sharp teeth. It has a black and white striped head, a brown body, and a short tail. It can grow up to 6 feet long and weigh up to 300 pounds. It has a keen sense of smell and can see well in the dark.

COMBAT

A giant badger is a fierce and tenacious fighter. It can attack with its bite and claws, and can make three attacks in one round. It can also burrow through the ground at a fast speed, surprising its enemies or escaping from dange. A giant badger is not afraid to fight larger opponents, and will defend its territory and mates fiercely.

HABITAT / SOCIETY

A giant badger lives in forests, hills, or plains, where it digs complex tunnels and chambers for its home. It is mostly solitary, but may form a pair bond with another badger of the opposite sex. A mated pair will share a den and raise their young together. A giant badger may also tolerate other smaller badgers living nearby, as long as they do not compete for food or space.

ECOLOGY

A giant badger is an omnivorous scavenger, feeding on plants, roots, fruits, insects, worms, rodents, birds, eggs, carrion, and sometimes larger prey like deer or sheep. It has few natural predators, but may be hunted by humans, orcs, goblins, or other creatures that covet its fur or meat. A giant badger can live up to 15 years in the wild.
