Limiting the power of a character and making the overall difficulty of the game harder, does not reduce the creativity, indeed it does quite the opposite.
The Game Master has the option to use any and all of the instances proposed in this guide, or just some of them according to their preference.

It is the lack of something that move and motivate characters, not the abundance of it

DESCRIPTION

Archelon is the name of a genus of extinct marine turtles that lived in the Late Cretaceous period, about 75 to 66.5 million years ago. They were the largest turtles ever to have been documented, reaching up to 4.6 meters (15 feet) in length and 2.2 to 3.2 tons in weight. They had a leathery carapace instead of the hard shell seen in modern sea turtles, and a hooked beak that could crush hard-shelled prey such as crustaceans and mollusks. They also had powerful foreflippers that helped them swim and maneuver in the water, and a keen sense of smell that gave them an advantage over other predators. Archelon is known only from one species

COMBAT

Archelon was not a very aggressive or territorial animal, but it would defend itself if threatened by larger or more numerous enemies. It used its strong jaws and claws to inflict serious damage on its foes, and its flippers to fend off attacks from behind or below. It also had a thick skin that could resist some bites and scratches from smaller animals. Archelon was probably more active at night or during low tide, when it could hunt for food and avoid competition.

HABITAT / SOCIETY

Archelon inhabited the northern Western Interior Seaway, a mild to cool temperate area that covered most of North America during the Late Cretaceous period. It lived in shallow coastal waters, where it could find abundant food sources and rest on sandy or muddy bottoms. It also occasionally ventured into deeper waters, where it could encounter larger prey such as fish or squid. Archelon was probably solitary or semi-solitary, as there is no evidence of social behavior or group formation among these ancient turtles.

ECOLOGY

Archelon was an omnivorous animal that fed on a variety of marine organisms, such as crustaceans, mollusks, fish, jellyfish, squid, and nautiloids. It used its hooked beak to cut through shells and flesh, and its strong jaws to crush bones and shells. It also swallowed its prey whole or in large chunks, depending on its size and appetite. Archelon was an important part of the marine food chain, as it helped regulate the populations of its prey species and provide nutrients for other animals.
