The psionicist forces his metabolism, or the metabolism of a creature he touches, to suppress its basic need for food, sleep and water thus avoiding exhaustion or any harmful effect.
The Initial Cost is paid at the beginning for each target, while the Maintenance Cost is paid every day after a medidation of 1 hour, represented by the Preparation Time.
The Meditation Cost depends on the type of basic need the psionicist wants to suppress, and is paid for every target affected, as described below:
- Sleep. Maintenance Cost 5 PSPs / day
- Food. 8 PSPs / day
- Water. 10 PSPs / day
The psionicist, and any affected creature, can survive in this way for a maximum number of days equal to their Constitution score, after this period they will immediately take the maximum exhaustion level, and will have to mark a failed death save.
