If the attempt to read his thoughts comes from another psionic power, then the attacker will have to establish a successful contact with the psionicist, but the psionicist gains a +2 bonus on his Mental Armor Class.
If the attempt to read his thoughts cme from a magical source other than a psionic power, then the psionicist receives a +2 bonus on saving throws, if the magical source normally allows to roll a saving throw to resist the effect.
