The psionicist induces his metabolism to slow down, to the point of entering a state of apparent death.
During this state he is not awake, but semi-conscious enough to raise his mental defenses if the need arise.
The psionicist caan remain in this state as long as he has enough PSPs to pay the Maintenance Cost.
Means that can detect life, directly or indirectly, barely work against this psionic power, and when they are employed the psionicist gains an advantage on saving throw to resist the detectin or impose disadvantage on checks to anyone trying accomplish the detection, at Game Master’s discretion.
