The psionicist focus his mental energy to enhance the result of one action, while penalizing others. The action must be one that require a d20 roll. Martial Trance can remain active together with any other psionic power, but the action receiving the +2 bonus cannot be changed unless the psionicist reinitiate the psionic power.

This psionic power grants the psionicist a +2 bonus on the chosen action and a -1 penalty on any other action other the one chosen.

The type of actions are listed below, but the Game Master has the last word:

  • Melee Attack (the weapon must be specified).
  • Ranged Attack (the weapon must be specified).
  • Ranged Mental Attack (the mental attack must be specified).
  • Mental Defense (the mental defense must be specified).
  • Saving Throw (one among str, dex, con, int, wis or cha).
  • Skill check (the skill must be specified).
  • Power Check (the psionic power must be specified).
  • Any other d20 roll the Game Master finds appropriate.
