The psionicist creates a projection of himself displaced 5 feet from his real position, while his real position remains invisible to naked eye.

Spells and spell like abilities like True Seeing and See Invisibility will reveal the real position of the psionicist, thus nullifying the displacement.

The psionicist also gains a +1 bonus on his Armor Class.

All creatures trying to hit the psionicist with a melee or ranged attack suffer disadvantage on their hit roll.

A successful attack against the psionicist, will reveal his real position until the beginning of the next round.

In addition, at the end of his round, the psionicist can decide to materialize 5 feet away from his real position as a bonus action, doing this does not reduce the total speed available in a single round.
