Nephythys – God and Clerics for D&D 5e

Nephthys (Intermediate God)

Daughter of Geb and Nut and twin sister of Isis, Nephthys was once married to Set. She left him in horror over the murder of Osiris and helped Isis (Osiris’ wife) to revive her husband. Because of this, she
often acts as a guardian of the dead.

Nephthys despises her former husband and will do everything in her power to thwart his plans for evil. In addition to her duties as keeper of the dead, Nephthys is also the guardian of wealth. As such, her power is often invoked to defend tombs that have been filled with treasures. Anyone violating such a burial chamber is risking the wrath of this god.

Roleplaying Tips

Nephthys is a somewhat greedy god who takes an interest in the accumulation of wealth by her followers. As such, she tends to favor those of her followers who are well off.

She often rewards persons who are of help to her or her church by leading them to important treasures.
