The psionicist banish a target by teleporting it to a temporary interdimensional pocket. The target cannot prevent this psionic power from affecting it, but once trapped it can fight to overcome the banishment.

However, if the target is capable of performing interdimensional travels, it can come back in that way and it is up to the Game Master establishing how, when and where the target returns.

If the target manages to leave the interdimensional pocket created by the psionicist, the psionicist will be aware of this.

The interdimensional pocket is not harmful a harmful environment to the target.

When this psionic power ceases, the target reappears in the exact same location or the closest space if the initial location is now occupied by solid matter.

The DC, the Initial Cost and the Maintenance Cost depend on the target, as described below:

DC. The DC of the Power Check is 9 plus the target’s Charisma modifier.

Initial Cost. The initial cost is 20 plus the target’s Charisma.

Maintenance Cost. The maintenance cost is 1 PSPs plus the target’s Charisma saving throw roll. At the beginning of the target’s round, the target can roll an Charisma saving throw. The result is added to the psionicist’s Maintenance Cost. In other words, the harder the target fights to get free, the higher the psionicist will have to keep the interdimensional pocket active by spending more PSPs for maintaining this psionic power active. Maintaining this psionic power active costs one full round.
