5th Edition Advanced Mode
Limiting the power of a character and making the overall difficulty of the game harder, does not reduce the creativity, indeed it does quite the opposite.
The Game Master has the option to use any and all of the instances proposed in this guide, or just some of them according to their preference.

It is the lack of something that move and motivate characters, not the abundance of it

DESCRIPTION

The allosaurus is a large, bipedal dinosaur with a powerful jaw, sharp teeth, and long claws. It has a muscular body covered with scales and a long tail that helps it balance. Its head is adorned with two bony ridges above its eyes, giving it a fierce appearance. The allosaurus can grow up to 12 meters long and weigh up to 4 tons. It is one of the most fearsome predators of its time, capable of running at speeds of up to 55 km/h and pouncing on its prey with great force.

COMBAT

The allosaurus relies on its speed, strength, and agility to hunt and fight. It can run down almost any prey over open ground, using its keen senses of smell and vision to locate and track its target. It prefers to ambush its prey, hiding behind rocks or vegetation and then charging at full speed. It can also pounce on its prey, knocking it down with its claws and then biting it with its powerful jaws. The allosaurus is not afraid to take on large or dangerous opponents, such as stegosaurus or triceratops, but it will avoid unnecessary risks and retreat if wounded or outnumbered.

HABITAT / SOCIETY

The allosaurus lives in warm and temperate regions, such as grasslands, forests, and plains. It is a solitary hunter, roaming over large territories in search of food. It will occasionally form temporary alliances with other allosaurs to hunt larger or more difficult prey, but these alliances are based on mutual benefit rather than loyalty or friendship. The allosaurus is territorial and will defend its hunting grounds from intruders, especially other allosaurs. It will also compete with other predators, such as tyrannosaurus or spinosaurus, for food and resources.

ECOLOGY

The allosaurus is an apex predator, meaning that it has no natural enemies except for other allosaurs or larger carnivores. It plays an important role in the ecosystem by controlling the population of herbivorous dinosaurs and scavenging the carcasses of dead animals. The allosaurus feeds mainly on meat, but it will also eat eggs, fruits, and plants if meat is scarce. It can consume up to 150 kg of food in one meal, but it can also survive for long periods without eating. The allosaurus reproduces by laying eggs in nests that it digs in the ground or covers with vegetation. The eggs hatch after several months, and the young allosaurs are born with teeth and claws, ready to fend for themselves. The allosaurus can live up to 25 years in the wild.
