DESCRIPTION

A donkey is a domesticated animal that resembles a small horse with long ears and a short mane. Donkeys are often used as mounts or pack animals, carrying goods and people across long distances. Donkeys are typically docile and loyal, but can also be stubborn and independent. Donkeys come in various colors, such as gray, brown, black, or white.

COMBAT

Donkeys are not very aggressive or skilled in combat, but they can defend themselves if threatened. Donkeys have a bite attack and a hoof attack, which they use to kick or trample their enemies. Donkeys are also resistant to being knocked prone, thanks to their sturdy legs and balance. Donkeys can be trained to wear barding and carry weapons, such as lances or crossbows, but they are not very proficient with them.

HABITAT / SOCIETY

Donkeys are usually found in rural areas, where they are kept by farmers, merchants, travelers, or adventurers. Donkeys can adapt to various climates and terrains, such as deserts, mountains, or plains. Donkeys are social animals that form bonds with their owners and other donkeys. Donkeys can communicate with each other using a variety of vocalizations, such as brays, snorts, or whinnies. Donkeys can also understand the basic commands and emotions of their owners.

ECOLOGY

Donkeys are herbivorous animals that feed on grasses, hay, grains, fruits, and vegetables. Donkeys can survive on poor-quality food and water, and can go for long periods without either. Donkeys have a lifespan of about 30 to 50 years, and reach maturity at about 3 years. Donkeys can breed with other donkeys or horses, producing offspring such as mules or hinneys.

Donkeys can be used as mounts or pulling animals for vehicles.
