The psionicist tastes what the target’s mind tastes. The psionicist can processes the flavors of one mind at a time, so when he is tasting through someone else’s mind, he will not be able to taste anything else.
The psionicist can switch from one mind to another, including his own, as an action.
Ingested poisons partially affect the psionicist, so that any damage dealt by such hamrful effects are temporary and fade with a successful Constitution saving throw, which must be rolled every round as long as the contact with the target is active.
If the target suffers the nauseated condition, the psionicist is also affected.
