The psionicist can have more than one psionic power active that produce their effects, that is more than one psionic power switched on (see the description of maintenance cost).
For every psionic power for which the psionicist is paying the maintenance cost and want it to produce effects, the psionicist has to make a DC 11 Power Check using the same ability score as per the specific psionic power entry.
If the power check is successful, then the dormant psionic power will be switched on, but full maintenance cost must be paid every round.
This psionic power keep working even when the psionicist is sleeping or unconscious. His subconscious mind will maintain the psionic powers active until the psionicist willingly stops them.
Under normal circumstances, even if more than one psionic power can be active, only one can produce effects, while the remaining dormant psionic powers remains potentially ready to produce their effects by paying half of their maintenance cost.
