The psionicist converts one of his arms or legs into a melee weapon. The weapon msut be made of a single material, so weapons made of composite materials are not allowed. Blades are typically possible, because the arm can be converted into a blade.

Spear are partially possible, because the harmful part of this family of weapons include wooden and metal parts.

Also, weapons that have mechanical parts, or moving parts, are not allowed, thus excluding bows and crossbows.

The weapon deals damage as a normal weapon, as described in the equipment list of the Player’s Handbook. The weapon cannot be dropped and the psionicist cannot be disarmed, but any damage dealt to the weapon is transfered to the psionicist.

The weapon, not matter what material it is made of, still suffer damage from fire, cold, acid and other energy sources.

The weapon is treated as a natural extension of the psionicist’s body, so the psionicist does not need to be proficient with the weapon in order to use it and thus suffers no penalties.

The psionicist can initiate this psionic power more than once, and convert its limbs into a different weapon if he wishes so.
