The psionicist generates a barrier made of pure force. The fluids around the psionicist become denser and are overcharged with psionic forces, thus granting protection against a different type of damage and weaknesses against others, as described below:
- Immunities. Acid, Bludgeoning, Fire, Force, Poison.
- Resistances. Cold, Piercing, Slashing.
- Weaknesses. Lightning, Thunder.
The Area of Effect can be extended beyond the boundaries of the psionicist body by increasing the Maintenance Cost.
The psionicist can increase the area of effect, always centered on himself, by 5 feet by doubling the Maintenance Cost. An area of effect of 5 feet, centered on the psionicist, increases the Maintenance Cost to 10 PSPs / round. An area of effect of 10 feet, increases the Maintenance Cost to 20 PSPs / round.
The psionicist can expand or reduce the area of effect as a bonus action once per round.
Any creature entering the area of effect will see its speed halved.
