A psionicist can assemble and manipulate fluid and solid matter to create a solid object of any shape, color, or texture.
The psionicist cannot change the nature of the matter used in the process of creation, that is, he cannot change matter at the molecular level.
The matter used in the process of creation must be available within the range of the psionic power. This psionic power cannot create matter out of nowhere.
The object maintains its integrity as long as the psionicist pays the Maintenance Cost. If the psionicist stops paying the Maintenance Cost, the object breaks apart and its constituent elements return to their original status.
The object volume and weight determine both the Initial Cost and the Preparation Time.
The standard Initial Cost and Maintenance Cost apply for a 5-foot cube of matter.
Beyond this limit, for every 5-foot cube the Initial Cost increases by 20 PSPs.
The Preparation time increases by 1 round for every 5-foot cube of matter.
The object complexity determines the DC, with the standard DC referring to an object made of a single element with no moving parts.
The DC increases as described below:
- DC +1 for each constituent element beyond the first.
- DC +2 if the object is made of both fluid and solid matter.
- DC +4 if the object is made of moving or mechanical parts.
- At Game Master’s discretion the DC may increase further and the character may be required to make a Craft skill check in addition to the Power Check.
