The spot is fixed, and cannot be moved unless the psionicist activates this psionic power again. The farther the area is from the psionicist, the higher the DC to activate this psionic power.
While the psionicist is employing this psionic power, it is blind to anything else around the neighborhood where its body is located. This psionic power is not affected by spells or spell-like abilities like Detect Scrying or Nondetection.
