- 1st-2nd level (two 2nd-level slots): burning hands, expeditious retreat, invisibility, scorching ray
Low Cunning. The xvart can take the Disengage action as a bonus action on each of its turns.
Raxivort’s Blessing. When the xvart reduces an enemy to 0 hit points, the xvart gains 4 temporary hit points.
Raxivort’s Tongue. The xvart can communicate with ordinary bats and rats, as well as giant bats and giant rats.

DESCRIPTION
Xvart Warlock of Raxivort is a type of xvart that has a trace of Raxivort’s divine energy. Raxivort is a former goblin god who fled his enemies and wandered across the multiverse. He is the patron deity of the xvarts, who worship him and receive some of his power. Xvart Warlock of Raxivort forms a pact with Raxivort and wields magic in his service as a warlock. Xvart Warlock of Raxivort looks like a normal xvart, except that it has a dark mark on its forehead that signifies its connection to Raxivort.
COMBAT
Xvart Warlock of Raxivort is a cunning and cowardly creature that prefers to attack in large groups and use ambush tactics. It often targets sleeping or unsuspecting foes, and sometimes takes prisoners to torture or ransom. Xvart Warlock of Raxivort uses a variety of weapons, such as scimitars, daggers, darts, and nets. It also has some innate abilities, such as being able to disengage as a bonus action, shoving opponents with the help of its allies, and communicating with bats and rats. Additionally, Xvart Warlock of Raxivort can cast spells, such as detect magic, mage armor, mage hand, minor illusion, prestidigitation, burning hands, and invisibility. These spells require no material components and use Charisma as the spell-casting ability. Xvart Warlock of Raxivort also has a special ability called Raxivort’s Bite, which is a ranged spell attack that deals poison damage. When Xvart Warlock of Raxivort reduces an enemy to 0 hit points, it gains temporary hit points as a blessing from Raxivort.
HABITAT / SOCIETY
Xvart Warlock of Raxivort usually lives in hills or caves, where it forms tribes of around 100 members. Each tribe has a leader and several lieutenants who enforce the will of Raxivort. Xvart Warlock of Raxivort often serves as a leader or an advisor to its tribe, using its magic and cunning to guide its fellow xvarts. Xvart Warlock of Raxivort has little interest in coins and currency, and often trades goods or services with other creatures. It is generally hateful and spiteful of most other races, especially larger ones, but it sometimes allies with gnomes and halflings who share its low cunning and stealthy nature. Xvart Warlock of Raxivort worships Raxivort as its patron deity, and often performs rituals and sacrifices in his name. It also keeps bats and rats as pets or familiars, believing them to be sacred animals of Raxivort.
ECOLOGY
Xvart Warlock of Raxivort is an omnivorous creature that eats whatever it can find or steal. It often raids nearby settlements or caravans for food, weapons, or valuables. It also hunts small animals, such as rabbits, squirrels, or birds. Xvart Warlock of Raxivort reproduces twice a year, in spring and autumn, giving birth to twins. Xvart Warlock of Raxivort offspring are cared for by the females until they reach the age of seven, when they join the males in hunting and raiding. Xvart Warlock of Raxivort has a lifespan of about 50 years. Xvart Warlock of Raxivort has few natural predators, but it is often hunted by adventurers, soldiers, or other enemies who seek to eliminate its threat or find Raxivort’s location.
