Rising Anger. If another creature deals damage to the Angry, the Angry’s attack rolls have advantage until the end of its next turn, and the first time it hits with a hook attack on its next turn, the attack’s target takes an extra 19 (3d12) psychic damage. On its turn, the Angry has disadvantage on attack rolls if no other creature has dealt damage to it since the end of its last turn.

Two Heads. The Angry has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks and on saving throws against being blinded, charmed, deafened, frightened, stunned, or knocked unconscious.

ACTIONS

  • Multiattack. The Angry makes two attacks with its hooks and two attacks with its bite.
  • Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d10 + 3) piercing damage.
  • Hook. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (2d12 + 3) piercing damage.
  • Roar of Anger (Recharge 5-6). Each head of the The Angry has a separate recharge die for this action. The Angry can use this action if either or both of its heads can roar. Each head lets out a deafening roar that affects a 30-foot cone originating from that head. Each creature in that area that can hear the roar must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or be stunned until the end of its next turn. If a creature is in the area of both roars, it has disadvantage on the saving throw.

5th Edition Advanced Mode
Limiting the power of a character and making the overall difficulty of the game harder, does not reduce the creativity, indeed it does quite the opposite.
The Game Master has the option to use any and all of the instances proposed in this guide, or just some of them according to their preference.

It is the lack of something that move and motivate characters, not the abundance of it

DESCRIPTION

The Angry is a monstrous creature that embodies the emotion of rage. It has two heads, each with a pair of glowing red eyes and a mouth full of sharp teeth. Its body is covered in dark scales and spikes, and it has four arms that end in large metal hooks. The Angry is constantly seething with anger, and it lashes out at anyone or anything that provokes it. Each of the Angry’s heads has a separate personality, and they often bicker with each other until they find a common enemy to vent their wrath on.

COMBAT

The Angry is a fearsome opponent in combat, as it can attack with its hooks, bite with its jaws, or unleash a roar that stuns its enemies. It is resistant to physical damage while in dim light or darkness, and it becomes more aggressive when it is hurt. The Angry has advantage on perception checks and saving throws against being blinded, charmed, deafened, frightened, stunned, or knocked unconscious. If another creature deals damage to the The Angry, its attack rolls have advantage until the end of its next turn, and the first time it hits with a hook attack on that turn, it deals an extra 4d6 slashing damage. However, if a creature opts not to attack the The Angry, it becomes confused and its attacks weaken.

HABITAT / SOCIETY

The Angry is a solitary creature that dwells in dark and desolate places, such as caves, ruins, or dungeons. It does not seek out companionship or communication with other beings, but rather prefers to be left alone with its anger. The Angry is not interested in treasure or territory, but rather in satisfying its bloodlust. It will attack any creature that crosses its path, regardless of size or strength.

ECOLOGY

The Angry is a rare and unnatural creature that was created by a powerful curse or a twisted experiment. It feeds on the pain and fear of its victims, and it does not need to eat or drink anything else. The Angry does not reproduce or age, but rather exists in a perpetual state of fury. The Angry is considered a monstrosity by most scholars and adventurers, and it is often hunted down by those who seek to eliminate such abominations from the world.
