5th Edition Advanced Mode
Limiting the power of a character and making the overall difficulty of the game harder, does not reduce the creativity, indeed it does quite the opposite.
The Game Master has the option to use any and all of the instances proposed in this guide, or just some of them according to their preference.

It is the lack of something that move and motivate characters, not the abundance of it

DESCRIPTION

The mountain camel is a large beast with two humps on its back and a thick coat of fur. It is shorter and slower than the desert camel, but it is adapted for rocky, hilly, or mountainous terrain. It can climb steep slopes and ignore the penalties on speed when moving on such terrains. It has a strong bite and can spit at its enemies to blind them.

COMBAT

The mountain camel is not a very aggressive animal, but it will defend itself and its herd if threatened. It can use its bite to inflict bludgeoning damage, and its spitting to blind a target within 5 feet of it. The target must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or be blinded until the end of the camel’s next turn. The mountain camel can also kick with its hooves, but it prefers to use its bite and spit.

HABITAT / SOCIETY

The mountain camel lives in the hills and mountains where it serves as a pack animal for nomadic tribes and adventurers. It can carry heavy loads and survive on sparse vegetation and water. It is not useful in the desert, where it would overheat and dehydrate quickly. The mountain camel is usually domesticated and trained by its owners, but some wild herds can be found in remote areas.

ECOLOGY

The mountain camel is a herbivore that feeds on grasses, shrubs, and lichens. It can go for long periods without water, as it stores fat in its humps. It is preyed upon by wolves, bears, and other large predators, but it can fend them off with its bite and spit. The mountain camel is valued for its meat, milk, wool, and leather, as well as for its service as a mount or pulling animal for vehicles.

Mountain Camels can be used as mounts or pulling animals for vehicles.
