5th Edition Advanced Mode
Limiting the power of a character and making the overall difficulty of the game harder, does not reduce the creativity, indeed it does quite the opposite.
The Game Master has the option to use any and all of the instances proposed in this guide, or just some of them according to their preference.
It is the lack of something that move and motivate characters, not the abundance of it
DESCRIPTION
A minotaur skeleton is a large undead creature that resembles the bones of a humanoid bull. It has a pair of long horns, a snout, and a tail. Its eyes glow with a faint red light, and it wears scraps of armor and weapons from its former life. A minotaur skeleton is created by dark magic that animates the corpse of a minotaur, usually for some evil purpose. It retains some of the memories and instincts of its living self, but it is bound to the will of its creator or master.
COMBAT
A minotaur skeleton is a fearsome opponent in combat, using its strength and speed to charge at its enemies and gore them with its horns. It can also wield a greataxe or another large weapon with skill, slashing at its foes with deadly force. A minotaur skeleton is vulnerable to bludgeoning damage, as its bones can be shattered by heavy blows. It is immune to poison and exhaustion, and it does not feel pain or fear. A minotaur skeleton can understand Abyssal, the language of demons, but it cannot speak it.
HABITAT / SOCIETY
A minotaur skeleton does not have a natural habitat or society, as it is an unnatural creation of necromantic power. It usually dwells in dark and sinister places, such as dungeons, crypts, or ruins, where it guards treasures, secrets, or portals to other realms. A minotaur skeleton may serve a powerful undead lord, such as a lich or a vampire, or a cult of evil worshippers who revere it as a sacred guardian. A minotaur skeleton may also roam the Underdark, the vast network of caverns beneath the surface world, where it hunts for prey or clashes with other monstrous creatures.
ECOLOGY
A minotaur skeleton does not have any natural role in the ecology of the world, as it is an aberration that disrupts the balance of life and death. It does not need to eat, drink, or breathe, but it may consume flesh or blood out of habit or malice. It does not reproduce or create more of its kind, but it may be part of a larger army or horde of undead that seeks to spread terror and destruction. A minotaur skeleton is an enemy of all living things, especially those who value freedom and honor.
