Limiting the power of a character and making the overall difficulty of the game harder, does not reduce the creativity, indeed it does quite the opposite.
The Game Master has the option to use any and all of the instances proposed in this guide, or just some of them according to their preference.

It is the lack of something that move and motivate characters, not the abundance of it

DESCRIPTION

A hunter shark is a large and fierce beast that resembles a real-world shark, but with some notable differences. A hunter shark has a sleek and streamlined body, with a powerful tail fin that propels it through the water. Its skin is gray or blue-gray, with darker markings on its back and sides. Its mouth is filled with rows of razor-sharp teeth, and its eyes are black and soulless. A hunter shark can grow up to 20 feet long, and weighs about 2,500 pounds.

COMBAT

A hunter shark is a relentless and savage predator that attacks anything that moves in its territory. It relies on its keen sense of smell and its ability to detect electrical impulses from living creatures to locate its prey. A hunter shark can sense blood in the water from miles away, and will enter a state of blood frenzy when it encounters a wounded creature. In this state, the hunter shark has an advantage on its attacks, and will not stop until it has killed or driven off its target. A hunter shark’s bite is its main weapon, delivering a powerful and painful wound that can cause massive blood loss.

HABITAT / SOCIETY

A hunter shark lives in deep waters, usually far from the shore. It prefers warm and tropical seas, but can also be found in colder regions. A hunter shark is a solitary creature, and will only tolerate the presence of other hunter sharks during mating season. A hunter shark mates once every few years, and produces a litter of 4 to 6 pups. The pups are born live, and are immediately independent. A hunter shark has no parental instincts, and will not protect or care for its offspring.

ECOLOGY

A hunter shark is an apex predator, meaning that it has no natural enemies in its environment. It feeds on fish, seals, dolphins, whales, and sometimes even smaller sharks. A hunter shark can consume up to 10% of its body weight in a single meal, and can go for weeks without eating. A hunter shark has a lifespan of about 30 years, and reaches maturity at around 10 years. A hunter shark plays an important role in maintaining the balance of the marine ecosystem, by culling the weak and sick animals from the population.
