Magic Resistance. The dragon has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Innate Spellcasting. The dragon’s innate spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 13). It can innately cast a number of spells, requiring no material components. As the dragon ages and changes color, it gains additional spells as shown below.

Yellow. 1/day: mirror image
Green. 1/day: suggestion
Blue. 1/day: major image

ACTIONS
- Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft ., one creature. Hit: 1 piercing damage.
- Euphoria Breath (Recharge 5-6). The dragon exhales a puff of euphoria gas at one creature within 5 feet of it. The target must succeed on a DC 11 Wisdom saving throw, or for 1 minute, the target can’t take reactions and must roll a d6 at the start of each of its turns to determine its behavior during the turn:
- 1-4. The target takes no action or bonus action and uses all of its movement to move in a random direction.
- 5- 6. The target doesn’t move, and the only thing it can do on its turn is make a DC 11 Wisdom saving throw, ending the effect on itself on a success.
5th Edition Advanced Mode
Limiting the power of a character and making the overall difficulty of the game harder, does not reduce the creativity, indeed it does quite the opposite.
The Game Master has the option to use any and all of the instances proposed in this guide, or just some of them according to their preference.
It is the lack of something that move and motivate characters, not the abundance of it
DESCRIPTION
A Faerie Dragon is a tiny, cat-sized dragon with iridescent scales that reflect all the colors of the rainbow. It has a long, prehensile tail and delicate, butterfly-like wings. Its face is expressive and friendly, often wearing a mischievous grin. A Faerie Dragon’s scales change color as it ages, from red to black, indicating its level of power and the spells it can cast. The hides of females have a golden tinge that sparkles in the sunlight; males have a silver tinge. A Faerie Dragon is a highly intelligent and magical creature, capable of using telepathy and invisibility. It can also communicate in Draconic, Sylvan, and Elven languages. A Faerie Dragon is a playful and curious being, fond of treasure, sweets, and pranks. It enjoys making friends with other creatures, especially those who share its sense of humor and adventure.
COMBAT
A Faerie Dragon prefers to avoid direct combat, using its innate magic to confuse and distract its enemies. It can cast a variety of spells, such as dancing lights, mirror image, suggestion, major image, hallucinatory terrain, and polymorph. It can also exhale a cone of euphoria gas as a breath weapon, causing its targets to act randomly or stand still. A Faerie Dragon can turn invisible at will, making it hard to detect and hit. It can also use its limited telepathy to communicate with other Faerie Dragons within 60 feet of it. If cornered or threatened, a Faerie Dragon can bite or claw with its small but sharp teeth and claws, but it would rather flee or call for help than fight.
HABITAT / SOCIETY
A Faerie Dragon lives in the Feywild, a plane of magic and wonder that mirrors the natural world. It prefers temperate or tropical forests, where it can find plenty of plants, fruits, and flowers to eat. A Faerie Dragon often makes its lair in a hollow tree or a hidden cave, where it hoards its treasure and trinkets. A Faerie Dragon is not territorial or aggressive, but it will defend its home and friends from intruders. A Faerie Dragon is usually solitary or lives in small groups of two or three. It may form bonds with other fey creatures, such as pixies, sprites, or dryads, or with friendly humanoids who appreciate its jokes and tricks. A Faerie Dragon is loyal and helpful to its allies, but it may also play harmless pranks on them for fun.
ECOLOGY
A Faerie Dragon is a herbivore that feeds on plants, fruits, nuts, roots, honey, and grains. It is especially fond of fruit pastries and has been known to go to great lengths to get a fresh apple pie. A Faerie Dragon does not need much water to survive, as it gets most of its moisture from its food. A Faerie Dragon reproduces by laying eggs that hatch into red-scaled hatchlings. A Faerie Dragon matures quickly, reaching adulthood in about 10 years. It can live up to 60 years, changing color every 10 years until it becomes black-scaled. A Faerie Dragon has few natural predators, as most creatures are wary of its magic and cunning. However, it may face dangers from evil fey, such as hags or redcaps, or from hunters who seek its scales or blood for their magical properties.
