DESCRIPTION

An Earth Elemental Myrmidon is a powerful creature that is created by binding an earth elemental into a suit of armor. The armor not only protects the myrmidon from attacks, but also contains its form and gives it a humanoid shape. The myrmidon’s body is composed entirely of elemental earth, such as rocks, dirt, sand, or metal. It has no need for sleep, food, or air, and is immune to diseases and poisons. It can communicate in Terran, the language of elemental earth, and Primordial, the common tongue of all elementals.

COMBAT

An Earth Elemental Myrmidon is a formidable opponent in combat, as it can wield a variety of weapons with great skill and strength. It typically fights with a maul or a warhammer made of stone, which can cause seismic shockwaves that knock its enemies prone. It can also use its innate ability to create tremors in the earth, which can damage and disrupt its foes. Some varieties of earth myrmidons have additional abilities, such as hurling stone javelins, liquifying the ground around their enemies, or unleashing thunderous strikes that deal extra damage and stun their targets.

HABITAT / SOCIETY

An Earth Elemental Myrmidon is usually found in places where elemental earth is abundant, such as mountains, caves, deserts, or mines. It can burrow through nonmagical, unworked earth and stone without disturbing the material it moves through. It is loyal to its creator and will follow its orders without question. It has no personal goals or desires, except to serve and protect its master. It may work with other earth myrmidons or other earth elementals, but it has no sense of camaraderie or friendship with them. It is indifferent to other creatures, unless they pose a threat or an obstacle to its mission.

ECOLOGY

An Earth Elemental Myrmidon has no natural role in the ecosystem, as it is an artificial being that does not belong to any plane of existence. It does not reproduce or grow, but it can be repaired or modified by its creator. It does not consume any resources or produce any waste, except for the occasional dust or rubble from its movements. It does not interact with the environment, except to use it as a weapon or a defense. It does not have any allies or enemies among the natural creatures, except for those that are aligned with or against its element.
