THE OUTPOST
A pack of 12 abyss ants is busy in moving rubbles from this room to the adjacent room (E).
Half of the abbyss ants are in this room at the moment the characters enter, whilst the other half is coming back from the Room #5.
From Room #5 it is possible to spot a faint glow.
The abyss ants are tendentially hostile if the characters approach them.
Searching the Rubbles
The rubbles, beside rocks and stones, contains something.
A total of 10 searches can be made, with each search taking 1 hour and yielding a Type S treasure (see AD&D2e treasure generator) and one random piece (1d10) of junk.

- 3. Salt – White crystals have been scattered on the ground. It looks like they may have been intended to be in a pattern, but this has been scuffed. If examined,
the crystals are discovered to be salt. - 4. Flask – A tin flask, this has been crushed flat and completely empty, with only a faint odour of strong spirits remaining.
- 5. Skull – The naked skull of a humanoid creature lacking the jwabon with a crown caved in.
- 6. Scabbard – This leather scabbard is decaying and has rotted through in several places. The loops for fastening it to a belt are long gone.
- 7. Clay Pipe – A small, unadorned clay pipe.
- 8. Buckle – A tarnished brass belt buckle with no belt attached.
- 9. Ferrules – A pair of iron ferrules, about 3” long.
- 10. Spoon – A small lead spoon with a crushed bowl. The end of the handle has been sharpened
