General Information
In december 2022 a challenge has been launched, the Dungeon23 megadungeon challenge. It will start January the 1st 2023, and will end December the 31th 2023. Sean McCoy, author of the kickstarter “Mothership RPG“, launched the initiative.
The participant will build a megadungeon, one room per day, organized in twelve levels, one level per month.
Megadungeon. This is a loose definition, and it may refer to any kind of mega-area suitable for exploration from the adventurers. Genre is not important, so it can be fantasy, sci-fi, post apocalyptic or everuthing else. The mega-area can span from the canonic megadungeon, to pointcrawl on a map.
Room. This another loose definition, because it does not literally means a room with floor and ceiling. It has to be considered more like a piece, a component, an element of the megadungeon. In other words, if creating a canonic megadungeon you don’t have to limit yourself to literally design a single room, if you want you can consider as a “room” a set of elements that according to you are important for that day because you fell inspired to be that way.
Levels. For each month of the year, you will have completed a level of the megadungeon, and then skip to the next one, so that at the end of the year you will have completed twelve levels in total.

Every post will contain an image of the visual aspect, that is the map, which will be drawn with Dungeon Scrawl.
Following the map, there will be my notes about the room. It is important to note that it is possible that I modify previous content to make some adaptations.
