Choose the category of trade good:
- Drink, Edibles & Stuff
- Luxury, Materials & Stuff
- Creatures, Mounts, Livestocks & Slaves
Roll a D100 to determine the trade good
With a single roll you will to generate a specific trade good that is present on the market, an abandoned warehouse, a sunken ship, a cave of smuggler or a lair of bandits, etcetera.
CHECK THE PRICE (or change it!)
The price refers to the D&D 5 player’s handbook. The price of those trade goods that are not present on the player’s handbook have been extrapolated to obtain a plausible price.
The price comes with a standard unit of measure – lbs., liter, gallon, hit die (for creatures), and others.
CHECK THE LOAD
Conside the load as the basic unit of “packaging” – to use a modern term.
The most common packaging employed are barrels, baskets, jar, case, crate, sack, belt, etcetera.
ROLL THE NUMBER OF LOADS
The #of loads represents how many units of packaging is possible to buy or find.
When buying trade goods you usually buy a variable stock of them.
For example:
- 2d4 barrels of Ale
- 2d6 sacks of Flour
- 2d4 jars of Honey
